Here, just for fun, are challenges our archers will be trying in lieu of Retinue League training.

Each challenge is based upon an archery shot that’s appeared in history, legend, books, film and television.

Over time we’ll be finding out it’s possible to replicate shooting an arrow through axe heads, as Odysseus did in The Odyssey, shoot  two Normans with two arrows shot from the same bow at the same time, as Kevin Costner’s Robin Hood did in Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves (but without ripping off the any feathers with our teeth!) or perhaps even try to shoot match the speed shooting of Legolas Greenlead from Lord of the Rings.
